The AQUAvalve
The AQUAvalve is a cooling device of simple but remarkably effective. The AQUAvalve is the centrepiece of the irrigation system, Autopot, however, it should be handled with care and according to certain guidelines of use.
If you keep the AQUAvalve clean and its tray free of obstructions and dirt particles, the AQUAvalve will help you water & feed your plants for many years.

1. The operation of the AQUAvalve :
The AQUAvalve is supplied with all systems AutoPot. Once connected to a reservoir the AQUAvalve will control the flow of water to the plants, without the need for pumps, mains water pressure, electricity or timers.
Once connected to the tank/tank the AQUAvalve will open and allow the water to fill the tray up to the pre-set level of 20mm. When the level is reached the AQUAvalve automatically closes and prevents the water continue to fill the tray until all the water has been fully consumed by the plants.
When all the water has been consumed by the plants and that the tray is empty, the AQUAvalve opens again and allows water to fill the tray. As the plants grow, and according to the climatic conditions, the AQUAvalve will open and close more often, depending on the needs of the plants.
By filling the tray and letting it drain completely before refilling, the AQUAValve offers your plants a cycle of wet/dry thus maximizing the oxygenation of the roots. In AutoPot, we call this technology PCI (" Plant Controlled Irrigation - irrigation, controlled by the plants).
